With SPF 50+ broad-spectrum protection and 5% Pro-Vitamin D Antiox Ferulic Complex, the DOCTOR BABOR SOLAR DEFENSE Broad Spectrum Hydration Serum helps prevent sun‑induced skin aging, while Ectoin supports the protection of the extracellular matrix (ECM) and helps reduce collagen degradation for a visibly youthful-looking appearance.

With UVA/UVB protection, featuring a blue light and infrared protection complex it helps defend the skin while improving hydration and smoothness.
Enriched with the exclusive DOCTOR BABOR BIOGEN PLANT EXTRACT, the product helps to improve skin hydration for a smoother, more radiant skin.

At the same time, the unscented Broad Spectrum Hydration Serum SPF 50+ provides a light and protected skin feel. The delicate texture melts into the skin and leaves it feeling pampered and hydrated.

The Broad Spectrum Hydration Serum SPF 50+ was developed by BABOR experts in the company’s laboratories in Aachen, Germany, based on BABOR’s “conscious standard". Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine

Pro-Vitamin D is a sterol and a precursor of Vitamin D3, naturally found in skin. It supports epidermal integrity and helps maintain barrier function, which is essential for protecting the skin against environmental stressors.

A complex with Ferulic acid helps to strengthen the skin’s barrier and supports protection against environmental influences, even under stress conditions.

Ectoin, a naturally occuring extremolyte, helps protect the skin from oxidative stress-related ECM and collagen degradation by reducing MMP expression while also supporting the skin's protection against light-induced oxidative stress to maintain a youthful-looking skin.

For a more resilient, well-hydrated, and balanced skin - even under daily environmental stress. Secondary active ingredients The skincare oil squalane (4%), derived from olives, as well as a complex (6%) of panthenol and glycerin, help retain the skin’s moisture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and mild redness due to dryness.
